Materialized Graphics is the 3D CG that a bare hand can touch and even manipulate. Midair haptics enables it by producing pressure distribution on the skin. This project develops this core technology and apply it to interaction studies to understand the human and create innovative interaction systems.

A key piece of materialized graphics is high-quality 3D CG visible by naked eyes. Kakeya group at Tsukuba University develops a device to create a high-resolution 3D image without vergence-accommodation conflict. The method enables a large and practical 3D display causing less eyestrain. We integrate the device with haptics.
